UCSB First Year Reader InterestLoading... The UCSB Office of Admissions is currently seeking High School Counselors and educators who are interested in reading first-year applications for the Fall 2026 admissions cycle. If interested, complete this form and we will keep you informed of the application process. Qualifications: Have professional experience in an educational setting, preferably working with high school students. Application Readers cannot currently work at other 4-year colleges and universities. Application Readers must be available to attend mandatory online training in late October and read applications through February. Estimated timeline: July: Reader application released Mid-August: Reader applications due September: Selected applicants notified and must complete hiring paperwork Late October: Mandatory training (multiple dates, including Saturday options available) Late November - February: Reading of applications (a minimum of 15 hours per week) Your interest/submission will also sign you up for our Counselor mailing list, where you will receive our Counselor e-Newsletter if you haven't already received it.
