Please note, official academic advising will not be available until summer Orientation. All transfer students that decide to enroll at UCSB are strongly encouraged to register for Orientation.
Gaucho Transfer Friday

Recently admitted transfer students are invited to join us for a special in-person event specifically for them called Gaucho Transfer Friday (GTF)!
Campus representatives will be available to answer your questions about UCSB student life, housing, support services and academics. Attend student panels and ask current transfer students questions. Walk campus with a guided admitted student tour and see your new home. Decide if you wish to attend presentations, and/or a UCSB resource fair. In addition, the Office of Admission staff will be available to offer guidance on steps to enrollment requirements and tasks.
